Jenifer Lopez has teamed with Verizon Wireless to announce the launch of Viva Movil, which aims to sell phones and services to Latinos.
The first store of the proposed 15 will open in New York on June 15, with others soon following in Los Angeles and Miami, Stuff.co.nz reported.
According to Viva Movil, the stores will have bilingual staff and provide a "culturally relevant shopping experience.
The 43-year-old pop diva is the majority owner and "chief creative officer" of Viva Movil, which is going to be an authorised Verizon reseller, offering same prices and plans as regular Verizon stores
She said that Viva Movil and its Facebook page will be a way for her fans to connect with her.
