Jacqueline Fernandez was in the capital recently to unveil the Diwali gift range of leading cosmetic brand 'The Body Shop'.
Jacqueline, in association with the brand, awarded year long scholarship programs ten underprivileged children.
Speaking at the event, the former Miss Sri Lanka said," The Body Shop is a brand with a true heart. I feel so honored to be part of such a noble cause and help provide these wonderful children with a chance of education. I am delighted to be a part of this endeavor by the Body Shop and it gives me immense joy to celebrate Diwali and bring beautiful smiles to these innocent children".
The 'Kick' star is currently shooting with Ranbir Kapoor for her next project 'Roy' scheduled to be released in February 2015.
