The 17th meeting of the Goods and Services Tax Council (GSTC) will be held in national capital New Delhi on Sunday with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the chair.
Finance ministers of states and union territories will be attending the one-day meeting that will focus its attention on confirming minutes of the 16th GST Council meeting, approving the draft GST Rules and related forms for advance ruling, assessment and audit and others.
The council has already finalised tax rates on almost all goods and services in the bracket of nil, 5, 12, 18 and 28 percent.
In the last meeting held on June 11, tax rates on 66 items, including agarbatti, packaged food and insulin, were lowered.
