'Suicide Squad's' much acclaimed joker Jared Leto is the new one to join the cast of Ridley Scott's 1982 classic Blade Runner's sequel.
The 44-year-old actor will join the cast with original star Harrison Ford, who'll reprise the role of Deckard, Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright and Mackenzie Davis, reports The Independent.
The actor, who was announced the Best Supporting Actor for 'Dallas Buyers Club' in 2014, has been speaking about the studio's treatment of his character following minimal screen time.
Dave Bautista and Barkhad Abdi will also star in the sequel that's being produced by the film's original director Ridley Scott.
Blade Runner II will be released in October 2017.
