Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jaswant Singh has been denied Lok Sabha ticket from Barmer.
Releasing its 8th list comprising of four candidates for Lok Sabah polls from Rajasthan on Friday, BJP has fielded former Member of Parliament (MP), Colonel Sonaram Choudhary for this seat. Jaswant Singh had also expressed his desire to contest this time from Barmer, which is also his hometown.
BJP also declared other candidates which include Sanwarmal Jat, who will contest from Ajmer parliamentary constituency against Union Minister and Congress leader Sachin Pilot while P.P Choudhary will contest from Pali constituency.
