Cricket legend Jeff Thomson is taking to the corporate speaking circuit like he used to bowl at lightning speed during his playing days and talked about the Indian captain MS Dhoni recently, according to reports.
According to the Courier Mail, addressing the Association of Chartered Loss Adjusters, he gained a few laughs when he recalled how cricket legend Rod Marsh broke the record between Australia and the UK by downing an impressive 48 stubbies during the arduous plane trek.
He said that according to him, Dhoni was the richest cricketer in the world by pulling in 70 million dollars a year.
Thomson also recalled once bowling to Sir Don Bradman, in Adelaide, albeit when the Don was 70, the report said.
He said that the cricket great whacked the ball all over the park and didn't miss a beat despite not having set foot in the nets for over 30 years, the report added.
