Sacked Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has claimed that he was stressed when his doctor informed him he 'probably' had cancer, two days before the infamous incident that led to his dismissal from the popular show.
Clarkson's contract was not renewed after he punched producer Oisin Tymon during a row over being served cold meat instead of a steak at a hotel.
Clarkson, however, said that he was subsequently given the all-clear over a lump on his tongue, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Writing in his column for a local newspaper, Clarkson said that he wanted to star in another "car show" while saying that there is no way back for him with Top Gear.
