Jimmy Kimmel recently sent well wishes to Matt Damon on his 46th birthday by making fun of the actor's middle name, 'Paige.'
The 'Jason Bourne' star turned 46 on October 8 and in celebration of his special day, his long time 'frenemy' Jimmy Kimmel, who hosts American late-night talk show, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' took to social media to send him a kind of well wishes, reports E! Online.
In an Instagram post, the 48-year-old host sported a gray T-shirt emblazoned with the actor's face and words poking fun at Damon's middle name.
The words on the tee said, "MY MIDDLE NAME IS PAIGE" with the picture of the face below the text.
"On this day in 1970, a monster was born," Kimmel captioned it and hash-tagged, "#MattDamon."
The duo are reportedly best associated on the show for the 'famous fake feud' that has been one of the most long-running gags in late night television, dating back to the early 2000s.
It all started with an improvised joke during the third season in which Kimmel apologized for not having enough time to interview Damon- calling out the show's lack of A-list guests.
The joke was so well-received by the audience and one of the producers, the comedian made a habit of using Damon's name at the end of each episode.
"The legs on this bit are unbelievable to me," Kimmel said in a statement in 2013.
"I mean, people laugh every time I say it. . Repeating the same joke every single night, you'd think eventually people would get tired of it, but they don't," he added.
