Hollywood superstar Jennifer Lawrence, who is known to speak his heart in important matters, has opened about a moment she experience in her early career, which made her feel 'objectified'.
During the star-studded event, honouring Elle's Women in Hollywood, the 27-year-old actress shared a terrifying account of being asked to lose 15 pounds in two weeks when she first started out in the showbiz, reports People.
"When I was much younger and starting out, I was told by producers of a film to lose 15 pounds in two weeks. During this time a female producer had me do a nude line-up with about five women who were much, much, thinner than me. We are stood side-by-side with only tape on covering our privates," she said.
Adding, "After that degrading and humiliating line-up, the female producer told me I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet."
The 'mother!' star said she tried to stand up for herself and told another producer she thought the weight loss demands were not appropriate.
"He said he didn't know why everyone thought I was so fat, he thought I was 'perfectly f***able,'" noted Lawrence.
She added that she felt "trapped" by the entire experience.
"In a perfect world, every human being should have the power to be treated with respect because they're human," she told the audience.
Just last week, the Oscar-winning actress issued a statement in the wake of the allegations made against Harvey Weinstein.
