Joan Collins recently received negative reactions by few people for sharing her rape ordeal on 'This Morning,' which occurred when she was 17.
The 81-year-old said that she decided to speak out about if because she found it horrifying and astonishing when she heard about the number of rapes that occur all the time, the Mirror reported.
Following the incident Collins went on to marry the man who raped her, which she now feels was "stupid."
Offering advice to anyone else in the same position the English actress further added that girls should not go to somebody's house and should not let it happen in any case but if they do get raped then they should put these animals behind bars so they don't do it again.
However, some people accused 'In the Bleak Midwinter' artist of using the situation to promote her new book and tweeted that she just hate every single man in the world.
