Joan Collins has revealed that she is delirious, thrilled, excited and very honoured to be made a Dame in New Year Honours.
Collins, who is best known for her role as Alexis Carrington in the 1980s US soap Dynasty, is awarded with the honour for her charity and philanthropic work, the BBC reported.
The 81-year-old said that there's nothing to compare to being a Dame and getting that kind of accolade from her country and her Queen.
Collins added that she is very patriotic and quite a Royalist so it is extraordinary and to receive the honour for her charity is wonderful.
