English actor Jude Law, known for his role in 'Sherlock Holmes', is in negotiations with Disney and Marvel to play the male lead in upcoming fictional superhero film 'Captain Marvel' opposite Brie Larson.
According to Pagesix.com, Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn is on board to play the villain with 'Half Nelson' helmers Anna Boden.
The script of the movie is written by
Geneva Robertson-Dworet has written the most recent script. This is the third draft which has been penned for the film. The previous two drafts were written by 'Inside Out' writer Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman.
Law will be playing Doctor Walter Lawson.
The film is expected to hit the theatres on March 8, 2019.
The 48-year-old actor recently wrapped shooting of Woody Allen's next spy thriller 'The Rhythm Section.
