Julianne Moore is up for the best Actress accolade at the upcoming Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF).
The 53-year-old actress, who's a four-time Oscar nominee and an Emmy winner, would be honored for her role in 'Still Alice', where she portrays to be a victim of early-onset Alzheimer's, Deadline.com reported.
PSIFF gala would be held on January 3, where Eddie Redmayne will also receive the fest's best actor prize.
Moore, who had recently won best actress award at Cannes for 'Maps To The Stars,' which too is scheduled to get an awards run, had received a standing ovation at the Toronto International Film Festival for the film, which gets an Oscar-qualifying run for a week starting December 5 before opening wider around nominations time.
