'The Leftovers' actor said in an interview that it was very hard for him to invite his friends and close family member while keeping the planning under wraps so that the news doesn't get spread around, Us Magazine reported.
The 44-year-old actor added that he was relieved once the ceremony was over and the secret was revealed.
Theroux and Aniston tied the knot in a secret ceremony at their Los Angeles home in August after being engaged for three years.
