Kanye West has said that he turned down multimillion-dollar partnership with tech giant Apple.
According to The New York Times' T Magazine the 37-year-old rapper passed on a multimillion-dollar deal and he is most probably referring to a chance to give exclusive music or release windows to Beats, the Verge reported.
The other possibility is that Apple approached the rapper about a design partnership.
It is also believed that Beats co-founder Jimmy Iovine has been speaking with some of the same artists that went on to found music streaming site Tidal and West's music would be a big score and a quick way to get people using Beats, but it's perhaps no surprise that he'd turn Beats away to work with Jay-Z and other musicians on Tidal.
