Bollywood's top actress Kareena Kapoor brought the curtains down on the Lakme Fashion Week 2014, as she cat walked the runway for ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra in India's showbiz capital Mumbai.
Manish Malhotra showcased an exclusive bridal trousseau at the Lakme Fashion Week Grand Finale for which he joined forces with make-up maestro, Cory Walia.
Kapoor dazzled the ramp donning a gorgeous metallic purple long lehenga with shades of grey and a complete diamond and silver studded open jacket which was teamed with a net dupatta.
Kapoor praised Malhotra saying he is a blessing for the fashion industry and the film industry.
"I think I like to wear things I feel comfortable in, and yes, I mostly feel comfortable wearing Manish because I think he is India's greatest and India's best. He is a gift to the film industry especially," said Kapoor.
Malhotra's bridal range, was a blend of gowns, skirts, sarees and lehenga cholis with diamond studded sequences and embroidery work, at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week.
Many Bollywood celebrities were spotted at the event, including Bollywood actresses Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Huma Qureshi and Sridevi along with Bollywood Producer Boney Kapoor and director Karan Johar were also present.
The fourth day of the LFW also witnessesd the presence of ace models Jesse Randhawa and Eli Avram.
Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014, which began on August 19, concluded on August 24, at the Palladium in Mumbai.
