The Supreme Commander of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Syed Salahuddin, has said that the Kashmir movement would reach its logical end.

Various Pakistani media quoted him, as saying that Kashmiri youths were countering Indian security forces in Indian-held Kashmir bravely.

He was also quoted, as saying that the United States, India and Israel were trying to destabilize Pakistan.

He claimed that India has the backing of Washington for the forceful occupation of Kashmir.

Salahuddin claimed there was no example where the United States or the United Nations had played a role to resolve an issue of land belonging to Muslims.

He also claimed that India was afraid thaty the Taliban would shift to Kashmir from Afghanistan after US-led NATO troops leave Afghanistan at the end of 2014.

Salahuddin said Pakistan needed to be stronger to ensure the success of the Kashmiri movement for self-determination.
