Kate Winslet was awarded a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Monday.
While receiving the honour, the 38-year-old star said she believes that so many great young aspiring actors first stepped off the bus with the hope of embarking on a film career from this very spot, and she feels very honoured to be standing in such a poignant place, and being celebrated in such a spectacular fashion, reports the Daily Express.
The Oscar winning star added that it was really wonderful to be given the accolade, and she knows she will never forget it.
Winslet's Titanic co-star Kathy Bates, and Shailene Woodley, who stars with her in her latest film 'Divergent', were also present at the ceremony.
