Katie Price's ex to face jail for fleeing country, missing court appearance
Katie Price's former beau, Leandro Penna could face jail time after he fled the country and missed his court hearings, it has been revealed.
The 28-year-old argentine model has been accused of common assault on a man after an argument during a party in his East London flat, the Mirror reported.
He was released on bail but did not show up at Thames -Magistrates' Court in March.
A Scotland Yard spokesman has said that a warrant has been issued for Penna's arrest.
Common assault carries a maximum six-month sentence and failing to attend court, three months.
