If you are one of those who got really happy seeing Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom getting back together, we might have some bad news for you.

According to E! Online, Perry has quashed all the reports about a possible rekindled spark between her and Bloom.

While talking in an interview given to The Morning Mashup, a SiriusXM Hits 1 show, Perry shared, "Well you know I think people are in and out of your life. It's nice to keep people you love around you."

And even though there may still be love between the exes, the 'Chained to the Rhythm' hit-maker suggests that it is just not enough.

"When you get older, lines get blurred. You know what, I'm really busy. I'm about to go on tour for another year, like I did, and get to play the new record Witness to everyone and connect with them on that level and I'm really excited about that," noted Perry.

The reports of these two getting back again started to swirl when the pair was spotted at an Ed Sheeran concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles a little over a week ago.

Many eyewitnesses believed that the way they spent their time together meant that they are definitely back together.

Perry and Bloom dated for 10 months before announcing their split in March.
