Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday called his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee and congratulated her on the Trinamool Congress' victory in the recent civic polls held across the state.
Earlier in the day, TMC leader and spokesperson Derek O'Brien held a meeting with Kejriwal.
The TMC bagged 114 out of 144 wards in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation polls on Tuesday.
The party hailed the verdict as reflective of the people wanting Mamata to carry on development work in the state.
