Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia has reportedly appeared before a court in connection to the Zia Orphanage and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases.
A petition filed by Zia's lawyers told the court that they had earlier submitted a writ petition with the High Court, asking it to expunge the recording of the complainant's statement, reported The Daily Star.
Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar of the Special Judge Court-3 had earlier adjourned the hearing till today in the two graft cases filed against Khaleda and eight others.
