Kiran Bedi releases 10-point plan for Delhi

Bharatiya Janata Party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Monday released a 10-point plan for the city ahead of the upcoming assembly polls in Delhi.

Bedi, in a series of tweets, shared her plan to make the national capital more 'economically vibrant'. She also stated that she targets traders, businesspersons and entrepreneurs in the city to realise her plan.

"1) Until GST is implemented, simplification of VAT policies, procedures and implementation, to 1/2 #KiransBlueprint"

"1) remove all bottlenecks, complexity and corrupt practices in collection, refunds, filing and reporting 2/2"

"2) Once GST is implemented, ensure that Delhi receives fair and adequate compensation from the Centre, if required #KiransBlueprint"

"3) Company incorporation procedures to be simplified and made fully online for easy and quick setup of new businesses in Delhi #KiransBlueprint"

"4) Encourage entrepreneurship via incubation support through facilitation of investment forums 1/2 #KiransBlueprint"

"4) as well as leverage unused spaces to create co-working spaces for startups 2/2"

"5) Rationalization of stamp duties and registration fees to ensure higher collection #KiransBlueprint"

"6) Start single window clearance for VAT, excise and entertainment tax and extend loan facilities for women entrepreneurs #KiransBlueprint"

"7) Raising Delhi's "Ease of Doing Business"ranking in d country and d world by simplifying and facilitating several procedures1/2 #KiransBlueprint"

Bedi's tweets came minutes after her campaign manager Narendra Tandon resigned from the BJP, accusing the former IPS officer of 'insulting him on every issue'.

Delhi goes to polls on February 7, with counting of votes set to take place on February 10.
