New Zealand ended their below-the-par Bangladesh tour with a 15-run victory in the lone Twenty20 match against the hosts in Dhaka on Wednesday.

The tourists, beaten in all three one-day internationals after a drawn two-Test series, restricted Bangladesh to 189-9 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

According to Sport24, New Zealand debutant Anton Devcich smashed 59 off 31 balls to lift his side to 204-5, their second-highest total in T20 cricket behind the 214-6 against Australia in 2010.

Along with Devcich, the report mentioned that his teammate Colin Munro also scored a half-century while bowler Tim Southee grabbed a three-wicket haul, adding to Bangladesh's shaky start, which followed when they lost three wickets in the first two overs for 19 runs while being set a target of more than 10 runs an over.

New Zealand will now travel to Sri Lanka for three one-dayers and two T20 internationals starting on November 10, the report added.
