Lalu Yadav rebukes Sabir Ali for deflecting between parties

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav rebuked expelled Janata Dal (United) leader Sabir Ali for deflecting between parties and for following the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Yadav was addressing mediapersons in Patna and announced the candidature of some of the new members in the party when he criticised Ali's support to Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal-United (JD-U).

"Those people who have cheated the ideals of social justice and righteous ideology under the leadership of Nitish Kumar are now being punished by god, we are not doing harm to them," said Yadav.

Former Janata Dal-United (JD-U) Sabir Ali was expelled from the party on March 24 for praising Narendra Modi.

Ali was expelled for letting down his party's policy to fight against communal forces that are symbolised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Janata Dal-United was taken by surprise when Ali, party's candidate from Sheohar constituency of Bihar said Modi's policies are good in Gujarat and his work for development in the state is also laudable.

Earlier on Friday BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi had demanded Ali's de-induction on grounds that he has been named as one of the alleged accused in the murder of music mogul Gulshan Kumar and was a friend of Indian Mujahideen Chief Yasin Bhatkal.

On Friday, directly attacking Ali, Naqvi had tweeted "Terrorist Bhatakal friend join BJP, soon accepting Dawood".
