Celebrated TV host Larry King has revealed in an interview that he thought he had 'retired' and the world of politics was something he missed the most during the three years since he left CNN.
Larry's new show PoliticKing will zero in on the day's news and will be aired on Hulu, Ora.TV and RT, the Russian-based 24 hours cable news network. His interview program, 'Larry King Now' is currently aired on the same network, according to Politico.
Remembering his past days at Washington, Larry said that he started his career with CNN in Washington and he missed politics because that was what made the world go round for him.
When asked about his dream guest, King said it would have to be Hillary Clinton whom he has interviewed several times in the past but there was an updated list of questions he would want to ask her.
The report said that among the various things he wanted to ask her included what surprised her when she looked back on her career, whether it was hard to take orders and how hard it was to deal with the fact that she got the job while her husband didn't.
As a journalist, he thinks that a race between Clinton and Jeb Bush in the 2016 Presidential elections will be the most exciting to cover.
King was also quite keen to interview Vladimir Putin and said that even though the Russian President owned the network where he works, he didn't have control over it's programming.
He spoke highly of the show that he currently hosts. He said that the best thing about the show was that the host was not as important as the guest and there was never space for the word 'I' in interviews because the guest was always the paramount thing.
