Last date to apply for SRMJEEE 2017 extended till 25th April

SRM Entrance Examination, which is mandatory for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech (SRMJEEE), MBA (SRMJEEM) and Health Sciences - UG and PG (SRMJEEH) will be held from 1st April - 30th April 2017 in 118 centers across India and 5 centers in Middle East.

The entrance examination scores are considered for admission to all four campuses of SRM University - Chennai, SRM University - Haryana and SRM University - AP, Amaravati. The uniqueness of this year's SRMJEEE is that any candidate who applies online till 25th April 2017 can still appear for SRMJEEE.

Candidates who appear for SRMJEEE and secure a valid score before 30th April will be eligible for on-campus counseling scheduled during May 2017.

Till date 1.6 lakh candidates have registered from across the country and the number is expected to cross two lakh by end of April. The slot booking for Entrance Examination opened on 21stof March.

Introducing exam retake

This year the university has eliminated the negative marking system and has introduced a new retake scheme. A candidate is allowed to take a maximum of two retakes if he/she is not satisfied with the score.

The best of three takes will be considered for admission. SRMJEEE 2017 cutoff score will be based on various factors like expected intake per branch, difficulty level of the entrance exam and number of applicants.
