Lehmann urges Oz public to send 'cheat' Broad back from return Ashes series 'in tears'

Australian coach Darren Lehmann has urged Australian cricket fans to attack England bowler Stuart Broad and send him home 'in tears' from the return Ashes series in Australia starting late November.

Lehmann's angry outburst comes after Broad admitted that he had nicked the ball and still refused to walk during a match-turning innings in the Ashes opener at Trent Bridge.

Claiming that his team has not yet forgiven Broad for his deliberate refusal to walk, Lehmann said Broad had committed 'blatant cheating' and hoped that the Australian public attacks Broad right from the beginning of the return series till the end and send him back to England crying.

According to Lehmann, his players have not forgotten Broad's actions and are calling him 'every name under the sun', adding that although he does not advocate walking from a player, the way Broad had behaved after the incident as if he is innocent despite hitting the ball to first slip is ridiculous.

Lehmann also said that the biggest fallback of the incident is that the umpires looked like fools and got all the sledging, which Broad rightfully deserved.

The first home Ashes Test starts on November 21 at the Gabba, while Australia will try to avoid a 4-0 Ashes loss, its worst England tour for 133 years, by winning the fifth and final Ashes Test, the report added.
