Disney is now working on a live-action version of 1998 Academy Award-nominated animated film, 'Mulan.'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the studio has already bought a script centered on lead character Fa Mulan, the female warrior who fought in the Chinese army.
This latest remake project would be the first film to feature a non-white lead.
The company's recent live-action 'Cinderella' opened in theaters 3 weeks ago to critical acclaim, and has so far grossed 335.7 million dollars in global ticket sales.
Disney might just be planning to make a live action of its every project, as in addition to the upcoming 'Beauty and the Beast' live-action starring Emma Watson, the studio is also making a 'Dumbo' movie with Tim Burton as director.
