Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to share the image of him in the role of 'Wolverine' for the very last time.
The 46-year old Australian actor posted a picture sporting his X-Men mutant's razor-sharp blades on one hand and wrote "WOLVERINE ...ONE LAST TIME. HJ," E! Online reported.
The 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' star hinted to an upcoming sequel to Marvel's standalone 'Wolverine' films, which was still untitled.
Jackman said that it was just a question of age and that as long as he could get the claws up without the need for a blue pill, he was fine with it.
There had been rumours about him playing the character in the 2016 sequel, 'X-Men: Apocalypse', to which he had replied that he didn't have the liberty to disclose anything, adding that there were some exciting things about integrating the whole' X-Men world', including the 'Wolverine' movie.
The new film is scheduled for a March 2017 release.
