A grey African parrot, that went missing for four years after flying away from his Californian home, has returned to his British owner, speaking in Spanish.
Julissa Sperling, who owns a dog-grooming business, discovered the parrot Nigel in Torrance and took him in as he matched a missing pet advertisement she had seen, the Daily Express reported.
Sperling said that "the happiest bird," who was singing and talking without control and barking like the dogs, was saying he is from Panama and was asking "What happened?" in Spanish.
The British owner Darren Chick, who after seeing his long-lost pet for the first time in four years was near to tears, said that he's doing perfect and it's really weird as he knew it was Nigel from the minute he saw him.
