Lou Diamond will play notorious Los Angeles serial killer named Richard Ramirez in the upcoming movie 'The Night Stalker. '
An indie drama from writer-director Megan Griffiths, would tell the tale of Ramirez's notorious 1984-85 killing spree that earned him the moniker Night Stalker from the LA Times, Deadline.com reported.
Inspired by true events, the film will follow a lawyer who, in order to save another man from execution, attempts to evoke a confession from the aging Ramirez.
Alisa Tager and Matthew R. Brady are producing the flick.
