Lucky hitchhiker gets a lift from Chris Hemsworth

It was a hitchhiker's lucky day, as Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth happened to give him a lift in his chopper.

In his Instagram account, Chris Hemsworth on Sunday posted a video where he and his friend Luke Zocchi is seen picking up an American hitchhiker named Scott Hildebrand; who turned out to be a musician.

The 'Thor' star Hemsworth addressed a common notion about Hitchhiker's being dangerous in a rather joking manner. In his Instagram post, he wrote that the man whom he and his friend picked up wasn't a "serial killer" after all.

"Picked up a hitchhiker, wasn't a serial killer which we were stoked about and just happened to be a kick-ass musician Scott Hildebrand @scotthilde ????#WelcomeToAustralia @australia @zocobodypro," he wrote.

In the video, Hemsworth and his friend spotted a hitchhiker in Brisbane from their car. After they pulled over, they got to know that the Mexican hitchhiker like them was heading towards a popular surfing spot in Byron Bay.

After Hildebrand was welcomed into their car he was surprised to know that he will be getting a lift in a chopper to the popular surfing spot.

The three of them had a gala time, as Scott kept smiling all the way throughout his chopper ride. As the video ended Hemsworth tells Hildebrand that the "dream is over" as the latter had to hitchhike the rest of the way.

According to USA Today, Scott in an interview to E! Online, said that the experience was overwhelming and dream-like.
