'Mad Men's Danny Strong to make directorial debut with 'Salinger's War' biopic

Danny Strong of the Mad Men fame will make his directorial debut with the upcoming biopic 'Salinger's War' which is based on the life of author J.D. Salinger.

According to the Hollywood reporter, the 39-year-old actor wrote the script for the project based on the book 'JD Salinger: A Life by Kenneth Slawensk'.

The film, which will be produced by Black Label Media, will focus on Saligner's experiences when he was just at verge of starting his writing career, but has to go to war when WWII breaks out.
