Mastermind behind Nanga Parbat attack on foreigners arrested

The mastermind behind the attack on foreign tourists in Nanga Parbat has been arrested.

Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Younis Dagha said that the terrorist Qaribullah alias 'Hasan' is the former Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader of the Chilas unit.

According to the Express Tribune, on June 23, 10 foreign trekkers and their Pakistani guide were killed at a base camp of Nanga Parbat, in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The responsibility of the attack was claimed by both the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Jundullah sectarian extremist group.
