In a horrific incident, a man was shot to death by goons in Mathura late last night, after he tried to defend his sisters from the untoward intention of the men.
The incident took place when Chandrashekhar, along with his two sisters, was travelling from Chhata village to Deeg.
The goons overtook them on the way and attempted to loot them and molest the women. When he stood up to the men in order to defend his sisters, they shot him in cold blood resulting in his death on the spot.
A case has been registered in Govardhan Police Station and a team of police rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched to track down the accused.
