Matt Damon has revealed that falling in love with a civilian has helped him keep away from paparazzi and lead a normal life.
In an interview to Esquire, Damon, who has been married to Luciana Barroso- a former bartender, for seven years, credited his wife for not being an actress and keeping him out of the public eye most of the time, the New York Daily News reported.
Talking about the ever-present paparazzi, the 42-year-old said that he doesn't really give them anything as he is not jumping up and down on a bar, or lighting something on fire, or cheating on his wife, so there's not really any story to tell.
He said that the media can try to stake him out, but they're always going to get the same story-middle-aged married guy with four kids.
Damon also said that he has seen the phenomenon of celebrity fixation surrounding his close friends Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
