American actor Matt Smith, who is famous for his role in 'Doctor Who', is all set to join JJ Abrams' directorial 'Star Wars
It is however yet not known whether 'The Crown' star will be on the side of the evil empire or the rebels, reported Variety.
The cast of the flick will include Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Billie Lourd John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran and Joonas Suotamo.
Naomi Ackie, Keri Russell and Richard E. Grant will also be joining the cast, along with other veteran Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian.
The movie is slated to hit the screens in December 2019.
