Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Sunday lashed out at the Akhilesh Yadav-led government in Uttar Pradesh on the issues of law and order and in-activeness.
Mayawati, who was addressing a gathering of BSP workers here, dubbed the Samajwadi Party Government in the state as the weakest and most helpless.
Asserting that the BSP is the only party to safeguard the interests of people, Mayawati claimed the general public has witnessed several times that the state government is unable to protect the interests of downtrodden, minorities and backwards.
Expressing confidence that the BSP would form the next government in the state, Mayawati also alleged that the Samajwadi Party failed to fulfill the aspirations of people.
