Undefeated US boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has reportedly claimed in social media posts that he broke up with his long-time girlfriend after she allegedly aborted the couple's unborn twins.
Mayweather made the shocking allegation against former squeeze Shantel Jackson, whom he gifted a ten million-dollar diamond ring in 2013, in Facebook and Instagram postings that included an ultrasound photo and the accompanying medical paperwork.
According to News.com.au, the controversial welterweight champion said that the real reason behind his and Jackson's break-up was because of her abortion, adding that he is 'totally against' killing babies.
The report mentioned that Mayweather got engaged to Jackson in 2013 although they broke up this year, ending a four-year relationship, adding that Jackson has reportedly been dating US rapper Nelly.
Mayweather, who will fight Marcos Maidana on Sunday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, has a history of outlandish, even unhinged behaviour, the report added.
