A hairdresser at Stoke-on-Trent has been named world's best Elvis Presley impersonator.

The judges at the Collingwood Elvis Festival Canada named Gordon Hendricks the most convincing tribute act to the Rock music icon in the presence of Priscilla Presley, the Daily Star reported.

The 43-year-old, who has been performing as Elvis since 2003, was handed the prestigious title after he played his rendition of Elvis' top hits.
