Men give up trying to look good at 46!

Men are likely to give up worrying about appearance and fashion when they hit 46, a new study has revealed.

The study carried out by Benenden Health found that after the age of 46, men are generally not bothered to follow the trends and they even stopped trying to stay fit and healthy, Metro.co.uk reported.

On the other hand, women keep putting the effort in for an average of another 13 years, however at 59, maintaining physical well-being becomes a lesser priority for them too.

Paul Keenan, of Benenden Health, said that the reason behind such a trait is the urge to relax in comfort.

The survey of 2,000 people found that one in four of the respondents said staying healthy and looking good cost too much money and was too big a commitment.

Two in three admitted that it was normal to stop worrying about your looks once you had a long-term partner; while more than half said they focused on their appearance much less than before they got hitched.
