A new survey has discovered that men are more sexually attracted to their partners, and consequently like to indulge in sexual activities more, in chilly winter months than in summer months.
For the study, which was conducted by sex toy company Lovehoney on 114 men, participants were asked to rate the attractiveness of some women in two sets of photos every three months over a year, the Daily Star reported.
One set showed only women's faces and the other showcased their slightly covered bodies
The findings showed that men were attracted to women's faces all through the year, but their attraction to women's bodies had changed.
After viewing women's revealing pictures, participants were more turned on in the months of December, January and February than in June, July and August, the study showed.
The results were published on the influential blog The Psychology of Human Sexuality.
