Michael Fassbender is in talks to star in DreamWorks' adaptation of the M.L. Stedman novel titled 'The Light Between Oceans'.
According to the Hollywood Reporter the film, which is set to be directed by Derek Cianfrance, is set on an island off the coast of Western Australia after World War I and circles around the life of a lighthouse keeper and his wife find a 2-month-old girl and a dead body in a rowboat and decide to raise the baby as their own, which tests their morality and love.
Fassbender would be next seen as Magneto in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.
