Michelle Rodriguez has shown support for the equality movement "free the nipple", despite feeling that it could lead to more rape cases.
The 36-year-old 'Fast and Furious' star, who was spotted wearing a Free the Nipple boob-tastic white vest earlier this year, shared on Twitter that she "believes this thing was too evolved for American men and may create a rape case influx if past, but love the cause," the Mirror reported.
Lina Esco, the movement's director, responded to the actress' concern saying that the promo film was not intended to promote the women to go topless, and just presses on men and women having equal rights.
She added that it was still illegal to breastfeed a child in public in several states in this age, and "going topless should be a basic human right not a criminal act."
The promo film, which calls itself an "equality movement" with the "mission to empower women," and is said to be inspired by true events, shows topless young women hit the streets to protest against the censorship laws, and asks the question: "What is more obscene: Violence or nipple?"
The cause has been supported by celebrities including Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Scout Willis, Lena Dunham and Liv Tyler.
