Mick Jagger had reportedly bought a 6-million-dollar house in New York to settle down with girlfriend L'Wren Scott.
The Rolling Stones' lead vocalist had planned to surprise the 49-year-old fashion designer with the good news when he returned from the Stones' sell-out Australian tour, the Daily Star reported.
A source close to the band said that contrary to cruel, false reports, the 60-year-old musician was very smitten with his girlfriend.
The source further added that Jagger had planned to throttle back at the end of the tour and considered to live at a more leisurely pace.
