A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped in Jharkhand's Giridih.
A case has been registered by the police in the matter and the statement of the victim has also been recorded.
Sub Divisional Police Officer Manish Toppo, said, "We have registered the case and have recorded the victim's statement."
He also added that the victim has been sent for medical tests and that further investigation into the matter is underway.
This comes after five women, associated with an NGO, were allegedly gang-raped at gunpoint in Jharkhand's Khunti district a month back.
During a campaign of the NGO, the women, who were a part of the drama team of the NGO, were allegedly kidnapped and then raped at gunpoint. Their male companions were also thrashed by the unidentified persons.
