The Bangalore School where the recent incident of sexual abuse of a three-year-old student took place re-opened on Monday.
"It is a bad incident but as we are an educational institution so we have no other choice, but to re-open the school. We really appreciate the efforts of the police, they have done a good job," said a teacher, Manoj.
The Bangalore Police had arrested an individual in connection with the crime on Saturday.
The two main evidence based on which the arrest was made are the pictures of the accused in CCTV footage and the statement of the victim.
Earlier, a case of fraud had been registered against the school as the educational institution has no record to prove that it is affiliated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
A three-year-old LKG student was allegedly raped in the school last week. The girl was subjected to medical tests on Tuesday before being admitted to a private hospital.
