The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has released a video, which shows the kind of missile launcher that could have shot down the passenger plane in east Ukraine, spotted 15 miles away from the crash site.
However, the actual cause of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 has yet to be confirmed, speculation is rife that it was shot down.
There are only certain types of weaponry capable of destroying a Boeing 777 plane, and that includes a Buk missile launcher, Mirror.co.uk reported.
The video footage that claims to show a truck carrying a Buk missile launcher they say was used to fire on the plane with two of its four missiles apparently missing, report said.
The ministry said the footage was filmed by a police surveillance squad this morning as the truck was headed to the city of Krasnodon, towards the Russian border.
The crash site was near the Ukrainian village of Hrabove, while the video was reportedly taken near the town of Snizhne about 15 miles east.
