Mojo Networks launches 'WiFi Think Fest' contest for students

Mojo Networks, a pioneer in cloud-managed Wi-Fi launched its first 'Wifi Think Fest' for students across India. The contest is an attempt to encourage students to take an out-of-the-box approach towards developing new applications of WiFi technology.

The awards ceremony for this contest will be held at the fourth Wi-Fi Knowledge Summit, an initiative which brings together WiFi practitioners and enthusiasts to develop best practices for WiFi planning, deployment and optimisation. The summit will be a two-day event from September 14-15, 2017 at IIT-Bombay.

The contest is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate/postgraduate course in India. No technical skills are required. Each entry must include the name of a mentor from the institute/college/university of the student. The mentor could be a faculty member or IT dept staff member.

Participants can submit their idea in the form of a document, presentation slides or app. Students can register at http://wifi-ks.org/wifi_think_fest/ The deadline to submit entries is August 15. The winners will be announced on August 30 and felicitated at the Wi-Fi Knowledge Summit.
